Lakefield Campground

Otonabee Conservation welcomes you to Lakefield Campground, located in Lakefield, ON in the Township of Selwyn.

Lakefield Campground offers seasonal and transient campsites for trailer and tent camping.

Lakefield Campground is operated by Otonabee Conservation through an agreement with Selwyn Township.

Outdoor Adventure

Welcome to Lakefield Campground, your gateway to outdoor adventure in Lakefield, Ontario, within the beautiful Township of Selwyn! Whether you're a seasoned camper or just starting to explore the great outdoors, Lakefield Campground has something special for everyone.

Camping

Lakefield Campground offers 11 un-serviced and 10 serviced campsites for the 2024 camping season.

Showers and washrooms located at the comfort station are available for campers to use. Camping essentials such as firewood, ice, and refreshments are available for sale at the campground gatehouse.

A sanitary dump station is also available for campers to use.

Lakefield Campground also offers seasonal campsites.

At the end of each camping season seasonal campers have an opportunity to keep, or give up their assigned seasonal campsite. If a campsite becomes available they are assigned through a lottery system.

 

Spend some time on the water in a canoe or kayak. Enjoy flat water, a gentle current, and great scenery and wildlife along the Otonabee River and Katchewanooka Lake.

Paddle around to the Imagine the Marsh Conservation Area, a Provincially Significant Wetland. It is protected for source water protection, biological diversity, conservation education, and nature appreciation.

Bring your own canoe/kayak or rent one from us. Rentals are available 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday to Thursday and 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday of long weekends.

Enjoy the many facilities at nearby Lakefield Beach. Hike or ride your bike along the Lakefield Trail, which loops around Hague Point and through the Village of Lakefield.

Lakefield Campground is surrounded by water, with stunning views, fishing, trails, playgrounds, a beach, and amenities nearby.

2024 Fees

Fees are inclusive of all applicable taxes.

Campers planning a late arrival check-in outside gatehouse operating hours are required to contact the campground staff to request an access gate barcode by email. Contact the campground staff by phone at (705) 652-3004 or email lakefield@otonabeeconservation.com. Late arrival check in requests should be sent no later than 24 hours before the scheduled check-in date. Please know that an access barcode is required to open the automated gates at the entrance to the campground.
