Placements and Partnerships

We welcome students from secondary and post-secondary schools for co-operative education placements. We tailor each placement to the individual student to ensure a great experience. Placement hours can range from a few hours each week for a semester or full school year. There are also full-time opportunities during the summer. Placements may be volunteer or paid depending on the program and partner.  

Placements include hands-on learning opportunities like monitoring water quality or planting trees. Other activities include delivering environmental education programs or participating in special events. 

Students gain skills related to data analysis, report writing, and communications. Activities vary depending on the season and placements are available year-round.

Volunteers play an important role in our stewardship and tree planting programs. Most of our volunteers join us for a few hours to plant trees or restore habitat at a special event. To learn about volunteer opportunities, visit our Events page or follow us on social media.
